Bruce
W. Diver
Bruce
started his coaching with the Black Widows in the 1990's,
playing wall
soccer in the North Shore. The team progressed from wall soccer
to the new sport of Futsal. In 2002 Bruce started Touchline Futsal in Middleton,
MA where he started his Futsal career. In 2004
the girls participated in the National Championship for the first time
and captured
the Bronze Medal. In
2005, 2006,
2007, 2008 they won National
Medal Titles.
In 2006
Bruce became the President
& Founder of the first Futsal facility in the North Shore (American Futbolito).
In
2008
he coached and played in the Men's O'40 in the National Championship and won the
Gold Medal. In
2008 the
first
Women's USA Team was formed and Bruce became the head coach. He also started the first Women's semi
pro league (WPFL). Bruce continues to coach, train, referee and play
Futsal year round at his facility to improve players skills and knowledge about
the game.
